First Quarter - Opening and Closing Ceremonies (2016 to 2017)

I created “Opening and Closing Ceremonies” to clearly demarcate an ending as well as another beginning between my Spring, Summer, and Fall Sessions.  But I have decided to mark transitions between quarters (rather than semesters) beginning in January 2017.   With this in mind, I have completed my Closing Ceremony for the Fall Session (2016) and my Opening Ceremony for the First Quarter (January-March 2017).
 
Below are the guiding questions and prompts that I use for this purpose.
 
Fall Session Closing Ceremony:

1. What were your goals?  (How do you feel about your goals?)
2. What did you accomplish during the Fall Session?  (How do you feel about your accomplishments?)
3. What do you need to bring closure to the Fall Session?
4. Write a positive affirmation to encourage yourself.

 
First Quarter Opening Ceremony:

1. What are your goals for the next quarter? (How do you feel about your goals?)
   
2. What do you need to be open to another beginning and the new possibilities that are before you for the next quarter?
   
3. Write a positive affirmation to encourage yourself.
