“Opening and Closing Ceremonies”

I started “Opening and Closing Ceremonies” to clearly demarcate an ending as well as another beginning between my Spring, Summer, and Fall Sessions. I am now marking the “Closing” of the Spring Session and the “Opening” of the Summer Session.  Below are the guiding questions and prompts that I use for this purpose.
 
Spring Session Closing Ceremony:

1. What were your goals for the Spring Session?  (How do you feel about your goals?)
2. What did you accomplish during the Spring Session?  (How do you feel about your accomplishments?)
3. What do you need to bring closure to the Spring Session?
4. Write a positive affirmation to encourage yourself.

 
Summer Session Opening Ceremony:

1. What are your goals for the Summer Session? (How do you feel about your goals?)
2. What do you need to be able to open up to the new possibilities that are before you for the Summer Session?
   
3. Write a positive affirmation to encourage yourself.
