30/30 Meditation Program - Day 21

Day 21
Welcome to day 21 of the 30/30 Meditation Program!  I am sure that you have heard the claim (myth?) that it takes 21 days to form a new habit.  This idea came from a plastic surgeon named Maxwell Maltz who observed that it took a MINIMUM of 21 days for patients who had surgery (e.g. a nose job or limb amputation) to get used to the new look of their faces or feeling of a phantom limb.  Over time the MINIMUM part of that claim got lost.  Habits do not magically form because we do them for 21 day (or even 30 days).  I say all of this to encourage you if you have been meditating consistently for the last 21 days and yet it still does not feel like a Habit or like second nature.  Cultivating habits takes awareness, action, and accountability in community.  My intention for this 30/30 Meditation Program is that it provides awareness, action, and accountability in community on your meditation journey.
